Directions
By car,
coming from the South of Italy, join the motorway Autostrada del Sole (A1) exit Chiusi.
Coming from the North of Italy, join the motorway Autostrada del Sole (A1) exit Val di Chiana.
After the exit turn left after about 2.5 miles heading for Sinalunga;
keep following the road for about 2.5 miles, then turn right where the sign says “Porto”, drive through the village of Porto and you will see a big building on the hill: there you are at Melagrani Farmhouse!
By train, either from Milan or Rome:
get off at
- Chiusi-ChiancianoTerme Railway Station (a 6-mile distance),
- or Terontola Railway Station (a 12.5-mile distance).
By airplane,
land at the International Airport of Umbria (linkhttp://www.airport.umbria.it/en/in-the-airport/transport “San Francesco d’Assisi”) (Perugia – S. Egidio), then take the public bus connections. It is approximately a 31-mile journey. As an alternative, you can reach Perugia railway station and then get off at Terontola Railway Station, or rent a car at the airport.
