Taste Local Cuisine at Our Restaurant
If you don’t feel like cooking, you may appreciate savouring our local cuisine at our restaurant. Indeed, Melagrani also offers a catering service, but please be informed that restaurant catering service requires prior booking.
Meals are prepared as in the ‘good old days’: the ingredients are the organic produce grown on our farm, as the seasons allow. We grow vegetables, cereals and legumes with love for good, natural and genuine food.
You may also appreciate barbecued meat and fresh baked pizzas. We buy meat from carefully selected local cattle farms producing genuine, high-quality food. Pizzas are prepared with our finely milled cereal grains and baked in our wood-fired brick oven.
At Melagrani, you will enjoy your meal in a cheerful and friendly environment, with tables arranged at your wish, in the open air or in the hall dedicated to tasting and – most important of all – you will taste the true flavours of the typical cuisine of Umbria and of this borderland between Lake Trasimeno and the Lake of Chiusi.
You will remember this lovely experience for years to come and you may wish to take these flavours back home with you shopping at our farm shop before leaving our farmhouse and then cook your Italian meals following our recipes, or create new recipes. The restaurant can also be reserved for parties, banqueting, private lunches and dinners.
